Believe it or not, the Green Bay Packers (3-1) at Dallas Cowboys (3-1) showdown at "Jerry's World" is the one-and-only NFL Week 5 game on this Sunday pitting two teams with winning records against one another ... but there's a whole lot of great action ahead on this first Sunday in October:

Jim Hurley and his Network of Handicappers and Bloggers keep banging out lots of winners: Get all the College Football, NFL Week 5 and Major-League Baseball playoff winners all weekend long. Call us at our toll-free telephone # of 1-800-323-4453 or get the winners right here online - go ahead, get movin' today!

MINNESOTA (2-2) at NEW YORK GIANTS (2-2) -- 1 p.m. ET, Fox
The legend of Giants' rookie QB Daniel Jones continues to grow following wins against Tampa Bay and Washington ... but might even "Danny Dimes" be in a little bit over his head here against this means-business Vikings' defense? Minnesota's surrendered less than 16 points per game through the first month of play while ranking sixth overall in the league when it comes to total defense. Flex up, purple gang!
Spread Note - Minnesota enters Week 5 action with a 31-13-2 ATS (against the spread) mark as betting favorites while dating back to the start of the 2015 season (folks, that's a sizzling .704 winning rate).

TAMPA BAY (2-2) AT NEW ORLEANS (3-1) - 1 p.m. ET, Fox
The hometown Saints are a mere 3-point favorite for this clash against the TB Bucs ... seems "short" to you? Okay, no QB Drew Brees (of course) here but note this is only the second time this season that Sean Payton's crew is in the chalk role (see 30-28 non-cover win against 6.5-point dog Houston way back in Week 1) while the suddenly revived Bucs rank 11th in the league in total offense (387 yards per game) and now QB Jameis Winston just has to avoid getting sacked so often (12 times already).
Spread Note - New Orleans is a solid 16-9 spreadwise in divisional games the past four-plus seasons but note the Saints have failed to cover seven of their last nine games overall while tracing back to last season.

GREEN BAY (3-1) at DALLAS (3-1) - 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox
Say this for the Packers and Cowboys ... They've stayed step for step with each other so far here in 2019 as both clubs won their first three games, then lost in Week 4.
It's the 'Boys who did some heavy soul-searching following that 12-10 loss at 2.5-point underdog N'Orleans last week as RB Zeke Elliott and the ground game went nowhere fast and our projection here is Dallas must rush for minimum 150 yards if they wish to keep Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines and silent here.
Spread Note - Dallas is just 2-6 versus the vig against Green Bay while dating back to the 2009 campaign.

On Sunday Night, it's ...
INDIANAPOLIS (2-2) at KANSAS CITY (4-0) - 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC
A little history lesson here first: The '18 Chiefs charged out of the starting gate with a 5-0 SU (straight-up) mark and if this here-and-now KC crew is gonna do likewise then QB Patrick Mahomes (1,510 yards passing with 10 TDs and 0 INTs) must "pick on" a Colts' defense that's already allowed 30-or-more points twice this year. Check out the other guy chuckin' it this year as Colts' QB Jacoby Brissett (10 TDs, 2 INTs) has been sporting "Andrew Luck-like stats" but his ball security better be improved here or else.
Spread Note - Kansas City's a composite 60-46-1 ATS in the career of seventh-year head coach Andy Reid but did you know the Chiefs are 10-5 against the odds when playing non-divisional opponents the past year-plus?

NOTE: Catch all the NFL Week 5 recaps and our MNF preview too - that's the Cleveland Browns at the San Francisco 49ers - in the next edition of Jim Sez.
