(Turf Courses Firm - Main Track Fast Throughout)

GREAT NECK - NYSB juvenile MSW race saw 1-2 finishers that were only previous starters in race. Great Neck broke well but was reined in early and settled between rivals until lane in 6 furlong event. Jockey Bridgmohan had front runners measured but probably restrained his filly too long. Breaks maiden next time.

ORZO - 40K turf sprint claimer had trouble from start to finish. Bumped at the start, settled in the middle of the field, went three wide on turn, was kept in by rival turning to stretch, blocked from the quarter-pole until just outside the eighth-pole, altered course to outside at sixteenth pole and still kept on. Just needs clean trip

BUG JUICE - Veteran NYSB restricted open claimer made it 3 for 4 at same 25K level as he rallied from last at 6½ panels. He was finally haltered by new trained Steve Klesaris and will keep winning, even in open company.

BIBBO - In first try since mid-May the 3-year old colt went right out to press a quick early pace in 50K mile and a sixteenth turf claimer. He battled with the winning favorite inside the furlong marker and weakened late while clear for the show as 3 race win streak came to an end. He was haltered by Steve Asmussen for the hefty price for Paradise farms so should be followed in second off layoff.

TALE OF MIST - In 9 furlong turf MSW the winner shortened from 10 panels and got away with soft fractions in wire-to-wire win while this guy went three wide on the first turn, remained there and was spun 4 wide on the far turn and continued on before weakening a bit late and settling for show honors. Normal oace and better trip gets the graduation papers next time.

PRACTICAL JOKE - Debut run by juvenile MSW Into Mischief colt turned out as many of that sire's runners have, with a dominant, measured stalking trip and clear margin through the lane in 6 furlong dash. Expect this one in the Hopeful Stakes and don't be surprised if he wins it.

GRAND SKY - Mark Casse gelding made his second straight sprint turf start since October layoff. The Sky Mesa gelding is lightly raced by began his career with two turn turf tries and given how h has rallied smartly in his two return races it is time for a two turn entry level allowance try in which he should be well regarded.

SUMMER REVOLUTION - The Summer Bird colt didn't get to the races until 7/16 at Belmont in this his 3-year old season. The Rudy Rodriguez blew away his opposition at 14-1 in 7 furlong MSW. Moved into entry level allowance company at the same distance he once again crushed the opposition. He will go longer and is Stakes-Level him right back.
